The Hyatt House hotel, situated in the Central Business District (CBD) of New Orleans, Louisiana, is an ideal location for attending an event at the Caesars Superdome. Whether it's a weekend getaway or an overnight stay with the kids, we love the comfort of the spacious rooms, the family-friendly vibe, and a sophisticated experience.

Walking to the Superdome is literally 5 minutes away. Most importantly, we keep coming back for the full complimentary breakfast, ha, ha! Not only does this hotel have a great selection of hot and cold breakfast items, but the made-to-order omelets are a fan favorite. In the event you’re looking for a late-night snack, try the H Market for 24-hour grab-and-go, snacks, groceries, or other necessities for your room. The H Bar has burgers and salads along with premium alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment. Of course the location is so close to other great food choices.

The Hyatt House downtown New Orleans hotel is easy access to family fun. The Smoothie King Center is another nearby venue for other events. We wanted a stress-free night focused on celebrating, and this hotel didn’t disappoint.

We were able to walk a few blocks to Mother’s restaurant on Poydras, which serves home-cooked meals like red beans and rice and fried chicken, something my son specifically asked for!

This hotel is very unique in that it shares the building with the Hyatt Regency, which has a Starbucks inside and a Dave & Buster’s on the 2nd floor. The building holds a parking garage that is adjacent to the hotel entrance. It’s a smooth transition getting in and out, especially during cold or rainy days.

One of the best hotels for a Saints Fan!

The iParkit app allows you to schedule and pay for your parking ahead of time with in-and-out privileges during your stay, which is the most convenient way to park in New Orleans. I just scanned the QR Code on my phone at the garage once we got there - it was so easy and convenient.

We’ve been lucky enough to get some good room accommodations - a high floor with a view of the skyline is always a plus! This time was a treat, because the Superdome was right outside our window. It was a neat experience watching the Saints staff set up in Champions Square before the game.

The rooms are very spacious, whether you have a King or two Queen bedroom, and the beds are so comfortable. Each room comes, with a mini fridge and microwave for your needs. Meeting rooms, business areas, free internet access just to name a few. It is also pet-friendly! In addition, if you’re a One Key rewards member, you’ll rack up points in no time on travel purchases.

My son always tries to play cool, (he’s a teenager after all) but he was really excited about staying overnight at a hotel and watching the Saints play their season opener. I was just the proud mom, along with my husband (his idea) to make it all possible.

If you’re planning to attend an event in downtown New Orleans, Hyatt House is a stay you’ll want to consider. Its unbeatable location puts you within walking distance of the Superdome, popular restaurants like Walk-On’s on Poydras, and plenty of nearby coffee shops, smoothie spots, and grocery stores. Add in the modern style, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a generous free breakfast, and it’s easy to see why this hotel keeps us coming back.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, enjoying a date night, or creating family memories, Hyatt House Downtown New Orleans makes every stay special—and I’m confident you’ll love it just as much as we do.
