When we live in a world full of judgmental cues, it’s good to look in the mirror and be proud of the person staring back at you. I have been on a self-reflection journey at the beginning of this year. One of my goals this year was to make sure I am the best person I can be.
Self-reflection is examining your behavior, attitude, and feelings. It’s important to ensure those attributes are both positive and meaningful. I have been intentional about staying positive, being grateful, and staying humble.
It’s not easy abiding by these laws in an unjust world; however, I must remain true to my beliefs.
It’s important to have an outlet to express yourself and reflect on your accomplishments and things you could improve on.
When you are honest with yourself about the things you are doing in your life, it’s easier to change your negative habits while improving on the habits you’ve done correctly.
I must admit I’m trying to do a better job with time management while improving on speaking positively over my life especially when faced with challenges.
I wanted to create a journal that was simple enough to get my thoughts down without taking too long.
This journal encourages you to pause and reflect on your day daily for 90 days.
The repetition of the prompts allows you to see your accomplishments and challenges, and to be honest with the things you could do better.
As a woman who wears many hats, sometimes I feel like I’m falling short on things I have to do. Whether it’s managing my 9 to 5, cooking dinner on time, or writing content for Heart for Success it’s nice to end my day journaling and seeing where I made strides or fell short.
I must say I surprise myself because I end up having more wins than I thought I did!
Any small gain is a gain I should appreciate.
I’ve written in many journals, but I like the prompts that I’ve created. I appreciate the clarity and insight I receive while writing in this journal. Being honest with yourself is not easy, but if you are sincere, it’s a very unique approach to self-discovery.
